Evan Handler is an actor, author, journalist, and screenwriter, probably best known as one of the stars of the HBO television show “Sex and the City” (in which he played Harry Goldenblatt, the divorce lawyer-turned-husband of Charlotte York, played by Kristin Davis). More recently, Evan has appeared as one of the stars of Aaron Sorkin’s critically acclaimed NBC series, “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. Evan has also played leading roles in several films, including Ron Howard's film “Ransom”; “Taps”, and “Sweet Lorraine”, as well as featured roles in Oliver Stone’s “Natural Born Killers”, and the filmed adaptation of Chaim Potok’s novel “The Chosen”. Evan is also well known to television audiences from starring roles and guest appearances on several half hour comedies such as “It’s Like, You Know...”, “Friends” , “Sibs”, and the more recent “Hot Properties”, as well as the dramas “Lost”, “The West Wing”, “Six Feet Under”, “24”, “Law and Order”, “Joan of Arcadia”, and “The Guardian”.
